Applied Neurotherapy Center's primary focus is on providing Neurofeedback (on both an in-office and home-training basis) and QEEG (brainmaps). While frequently medication is a necessary intervention for a variety of psychiatric conditions, in many cases, Neurofeedback can be a truly viable alternative to drugs in the treatment of Attention Deficit related isuses, Anxiety and Depression related disorders, Learning related issues, and Head Injuries.

A recent special issue of Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics of North America was devoted to emerging interventions that affect brain function. Neurofeedback was featured in seven of the ten chapters in the volume. The volume editors provided an overview and clinical perspective on all the approaches presented.
